“Single vineyard, flagship Grenache of Jauma. It comes at a higher price than the rest of the lines, the only exception James makes for his wines since usually all of them are priced at the same price.
Planted in the 1940s, this bush vine Grenache sits its roots in deep, white, beach sand on clay. Producing highly aromatic and rich wines with an amazing structure.
5% whole-bunch, otherwise all grapes are destemmed and fermented together to dry, then left on the skins for 4 weeks of maceration before being pressed to old French large format barrels.”
