GROWING

• Soil: Gravel and Limestone 
• Age of vines: 35 years old
• Certified biodynamic by Demeter

WINEMAKING

• Field blend grapes are hand-harvested and destemmed
• Wild fermented in 500, 1,000 and 1,500 L Austrian oak barrels, remain on skin for 3 weeks
• Aged in barrels on lees for about 8 months, with no bâtonnage
• Racked once before bottling
• No fining, no filtration
• No sulfur addition

• Full of character, easy-going, and somewhat voluptuous 
• A deep, dark red wine with an explosion of dark cherry compote and hints of blackberry  
• Notably tart and spicy
