GROWING

• Soil: Limestone and sand 
• Age of vines: 45 years old
• Certified biodynamic by Demeter
• Vintage: Cool and humid spring, very hot and dry summer, interrupted by a cold and wet period at the beginning of August. Beautiful, warm, dry harvest season. A perfect match of cool and warm influences, crystal clear and brilliant.

WINEMAKING

• Gewurtztraminer manually harvested and destemmed
• Several hours of skin contact
• One-third skin-contact, two-third direct press
• Pneumatic press and fermentation take place in used 500L Austrian oak barrels
• The wine stays in a barrel for an ‘elevage’ of 10 months, with no bâtonnage
• No fining, no filtration
• No sulfur addition
• Rack once before bottling
• Bottled in April 2024

WHAT’S GOOD?

• Mesmerizing on the nose as its previous vintages, but even with more intensity on the palate
• There’s real clarity to the fruit (think of lychee, wildflowers) and a soft, sandy texture that reflects the soil it came from.
• Best served chilled (~14℃)
