GROWING

• Soil: Gravel and Limestone 
• Age of vines: 35 years old
• Certified biodynamic by Demeter

WINEMAKING

• Field blend grapes (Zweigelt, and Blaufränkisch) are hand-harvested and partly destemmed (the rest is whole-bunch fermentation)
• One-third in skin contact for 10 days
• Wild fermented in 500 and 1,200 L Austrian oak barrels, remain on skin for 3 weeks
• Aged in barrels on lees for about 10 months
• Racked once before bottling
• No fining, no filtration
• No sulfur addition

WHAT’S GOOD?

• Son of Wiltrude and Joschuari, brother of Theodora
• Crunchy, mineral, and invigorating – Affectionate and easy-going 
• Has the purity and tension, reminiscent of a Syrah with red fruits, fresh flowers, a hint of smoldering earth, and smoke
• Bright and clean finish, like an attractive young man, but in no way superficial
• Best served slightly chilled (15℃)
• Bottled in June 2024
