- Soil Type: Red clay loam and rocky-natured soil
- Mt Camel (Heathcote) vineyard and Merbein vineyard of the Chalmers family
WINEMAKING
- The blend include Moscato Giallo & Vermentino.
- Long steady ferments in 100% stainless, approximately 3 weeks on skins, pressed, aged in stainless.
- Racked only once prior to bottling.
WHAT’S GOOD?
- The wine is well balanced thanks to the high quality fruit from a great season.
- The nose is full of floral aromas, musky and fruity scents, with a hint of spring flowers.
- The palate contrasts with this, offering a crisp and clean taste with a mineral and salty edge.
