seems quite distant, yet he is deeply connected to the region
and the spectacular limestone and slate terroir. It shapes his

GROWING

• Soil: Limestone and Slate
• Age of vines: 50 years old
• Certified biodynamic by Demeter
• Vintage: very hot and dry throughout all the season, still the grapes have been released at the perfect time, to preserve a beautiful delicacy and freshness, paired with a nicely present structure.

WINEMAKING

• Grape Varieties: Blaufränkisch
• Grapes are hand-harvested and destemmed
• Pneumatic press and fermentation take place in 500 and 1,200 L Austrian Oak barrels
• Racked once before bottling
• No fining, no filtration
• No sulfur addition
• Bottled in April 2024

WHAT’S GOOD?

• A medium-bodied red with a serious personality and complexity
• Fragrant nose with touch of wood and chocolate, but is still dominated by red berries and green vegetal notes
• Rich and smooth on the palate, with fine tannins and pleasant long finish
• The kind of delicate and refined Blaufränkisch that you can age for decades
• Best served slightly chilled (16-18℃)
