GROWING

• Soil: Gravel and Limestone 
• Age of vines: 35 years old

WINEMAKING

• Field blend grapes are hand harvested and destemmed
• Fermented in used 500, 1000, and 1500 L Austrian oak barrels
• Aged in barrels on lees for about 12 months, with no bâtonnage
• Racked once before bottling
• Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with zero sulfur addition
• No fining, no filtration
• No sulfur addition
• Bottled in June 2023

WHAT’S GOOD?

• Son of Wiltrude and Joschuari, brother of Theodora
• Crunchy, mineral, and invigorating – Affectionate and easy-going 
• Has the purity and tension of an old-world classic with red fruits, fresh flowers, a hint of smoldering earth, and smoke
• Bright and clean finish, like an attractive young man but in no way superficial
• Best served slightly chilled (16-18℃)
