GROWING

• Sandy, chalky, and heavy soils
• 2024 offered near-perfect conditions, with no major weather extremes
• Certified biodynamic by Demeter

WINEMAKING

• Blend of the region’s traditional varieties: 40% Muscat, 30% Muscat Ottonel, 20% Sauvignon Blanc, and 10% Welschriesling  
• Harvested and vinified separately, but treated the same way
• All the grapes were macerated for over a week before completing fermentation in 500-liter oak barrels; followed by over six months aged on full lees in used barriques
• The varieties were only blended shortly before bottling
• Unfined, unfiltered

WHAT’S GOOD?

• Perfect Day was created to accompany such a day – or even turn a day into one; inspired by the song of the same name by Lou Reed, in which the simple joys of life are summed up into a perfect day

• Compact, focused, and aromatically complex. Light smoky notes are among the recurring characteristics of the Perfect Day every year, accompanied by fine mineral nuances, juicy stone fruit aromas, and a subtle exotic touch
• On the palate, a touch of tannin combined with a restrained yet supportive acidity gives the wine structure. It presents itself as powerful, straightforward, and consistently elegant. The finish is juicy, tightly woven, and marked by profound fruit
• Best served at 10-12°C
